Living in "South Florida" I have been working so much with my patio... I am so excited by my two pomegranate trees. Now, I do love all my plantings with the same affection yet, the "Poms" are a center of fascination.
One never knows what will make it in the this broiling sunshine, and I have tried to gr this type of tree many times before...
I will keep you posted, B.T.W. my basil and rosemary is beyond words too. :)

What's your favorite
Whether we're a vibrant Orange, or a peaceful Blue, our color preferences are a key to understanding our personalities. Find out what this color expert has to say about your favorite color. What does it reveal about who you really are?

Tunnel of Fudge cake!
Best Tunnel of fudge
Prep Time: 25 minutes
Cook Time: 60 minutes
Ingredients:
• 1-3/4 cups butter, softened
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
• 6 eggs
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 2-1/4 cups flour
• 1/2 cup cocoa
• 2 cups chopped pecans
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, and brown sugar, and beat until mixture is light and fluffy. Add melted and cooled chocolate, beating until combined.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating throughly after each addition until eggs combine with butter mixture (this can take some time). Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well. By hand, stir in flour, cocoa, and pecans until well blended.
Spray a 12 cup Bundt pan with nonstick baking spray with flour. Spoon batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 58-62 minutes, until crust looks dry and shiny (traditional doneness tests won't work because of the soft fudge center). Cool cake in pan on rack for 1 hour, then invert onto serving plate and remove pan. Cool completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving. Serves 16

Lime Juice
Everyone knows I am a lover of foods! And have had multiple Heart Attacks I do not eat salt! but I really never liked salt. I only like salt on starch, Breads and pasta's, I can't eat that either any more. But I have found I am in love with lime and live corriander "Cilantro"both over chopper onion as a salad.
Eating this, with what I am eating,removes salt as lime juice (Real) is taisted on the same place on the tounge.=)I am eating my food baised on this lime!

Recently I had a wonderful conversation with Dr. D a futurist and physicist. Perhaps my personal, “Tuesdays with Maury” and friend. He informed me of the cleaner option, all of the world seems to misunderstand, Hydrogen. So, I have done some due diligence!I will also inform you Dr. "D" is very opionated and he is sure to have impressive response to "The Frog" but! And now ask you, my Blog buddies to tell me if you’re on board? I will share my blog with my friend Dr."D" and he will help respond, as this goes over my head! =) But, Let’s start the dialog. For the past 28 years, the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) has been conducting research on hydrogen fuel cells for use in transportation, industry and residential use. According to the LANL, "Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Research at Los Alamos has made significant technological advances in Polymer Electrolyte Membrane (PEM) fuel cells, Direct Methanol Fuel Cells (DMFC), and related technologies such as the electrolyzer (a fuel cell in reverse, liberating hydrogen from electricity and pure water)."
Unlike many of the hybrid and "green" cars currently on the market, hydrogen cars offer the promise of zero emission technology, where the only byproduct from the cars is water vapor. Current fossil-fuel burning vehicles emit all sorts of pollutants such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrous oxide, ozone and microscopic particulate matter. Hybrids and other green cars address these issues to a large extent but only hydrogen cars hold the promise of zero emission of pollutants. The Environmental Protection Agency estimates that fossil-fuel automobiles emit 1 ½ billion tons of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere each year and going to hydrogen-based transportation would all but eliminate this.
Not only that, hydrogen cars will lessen the United States' dependence upon foreign oil. The so-called "hydrogen highway" will mean less dependence upon OPEC, the big U. S. oil companies, oil refinery malfunctions and breakdowns and less resistance from oil-selling nations like Venezuela and Saudi Arabia or from hostile nations who would rather sell elsewhere. Consumers will finally get a break from the never-ending rising prices at the gasoline pumps.
President Bush has already allocated approximately $2 billion in hydrogen highway research. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is pushing to get 200 hydrogen filling stations built by 2010 stretching from Vancouver, British Columbia, all the way down to Baja, California. Since Californians buy one-fifth of the nation's cars, the new hydrogen car technology could simply replace the current gasoline engine automobiles in what is called "disruptive technology" where something so innovative comes along it simply replaces the old technology very quickly.
Then again, a more likely scenario is that dual-fuel automotive systems will be developed that can run on either gasoline or hydrogen as the hydrogen infrastructure is being developed. The conversion from gasoline-powered internal combustion engines to hydrogen powered combustion engines is agreed upon by most scientists and engineers to be a particularly easy transition and would buy time for hydrogen fuel cell cars to be fully adapted.
But, hydrogen cars are not isolated to those that burn the fuel in internal combustion engines. There are more hydrogen fuel cell cars being built currently than any other kind. Let's also not forget about hydrogen-on-demand vehicles that are either using a hydrogen compound or electrolyzing water to create hydrogen, avoiding the compressed or liquid hydrogen refueling scenario altogether. And, what about adapting hydrogen peroxide for fuel in car since it is currently being used in racecars and jet packs as a propellant?
